Seems he had some decent plays Sunday night. Nothing glaring from any big mistakes.

yes...he's coming on...i suspect the game is slowing down for him and his athleticism is coming more to the forefront. Would be a nice solidifying of the LB core if he would lock the strong side down...but I think there will be competition there all season.

I noticed two plays Sunday. He has the tools to be a good Will or a cover LBer in SPs.

I'll completely honest...I didn't notice him out there during the game. I guess I'll have to re-watch the game.

Is there anyone else that see that Damien Wilson is quietly becoming a good asset to this defense? The guy seems to be all over the place.

He's making some good plays and that's to his credit. The guy is young and relatively inexperienced, so he very likely deserves some slack.

I see no harm in allowing him to continue as long as his performance doesn't falter. If it does, Nzeocha is probably about ready to step up.

Certainly an upgrade over Wilber but that's not saying much. Still want to see Nzeocha win thT spot

He's been one of my biggest disappointments. I was really high on him in the draft and thrilled when Dallas picked him. He was a tackling machine and played zone coverage well for Minnesota. I thought he'd be a shoe in at SLB and was surprised he couldn't unseat Wilber or Gachkar. I'm glad to see him making progress and hope it continues. Dallas has a chance to be dynamic at LB if Lee can stay healthy, Smith can get on the field, Wilson can continue moving forward, and Hitchens can continue spot duty at each LB position.

He still tends to get lost in run fits quite a bit. Perhaps that will improve with more snaps, but not a guarantee. He definitely adds more range to the position than Wilber.

I'm surprised Nzeocha hasn't gotten a shot.

Hitchens is playing better too..

I think with all of the short passes we saw against Philly our linebackers were going to naturally show up more.

Sean Lee was like 2 guys out there Sunday Night. The guy was everywhere.

Me too..

Im really disappointed we haven't seen him much. I thought he could give us some of the athleticism we needed in the middle.

I believe he did make a good play but not sure of anything else.

Nzeocha is still learning how to play football.

I don't know. He had a few plays where he showed up, but my tendency is to believe when you allow Sproles to run all over you, your linebackers aren't filling well. Lee was all over the place, so I don't think he's the problem. I think the problem is Hitchens and Wilson aren't consistent.

I like Nzeocha also. But, he was used more at the Mike. I believe Wilson is being used as the SAM. So, unless I'm wrong, Wilson, Nzeocha, and Lee as the LB Corps. Could be a good group.

Hitchens...yes. But, Wilson did pretty well I thought. He's young. He'll make mistakes. But, he's shown something to grow on.
