Let's take a look at the field...
The NFC will prove to be a very competitive and tough side of the NFL.
But, Green Bay will come back a little towards the pack, this season.
Detroit has a lot of immature problems off the field, and that will work some of it's way back onto the field.
New Orleans, has a truck load of problems that will be clogging process throughout this season.
Chicago has a bundle of potential, but is still Chicago. And it has to now weather if Brian Urhlacher will play, or at what point.
San Francisco, will be pressed to expand upon previous success. And there has to be no lingering questions as to Smith as their top leader. They were knocked off their saddle last season, and that sometimes lingers.
Philadelphia is scary talented again this year. Logic is that it's head coach will be very concentrated this season. The team put together a very storng finish to last season, and if given but another game, would have replaced the Giants on their own path. They, although, are but a Vick injury for significant time, to fall back into the pack.
The Giants, early in season, they tend to fall apart. We shall see how they rise to the starting whistle this year. They still have secondary woes and one still wonders if their running game will diminish somewhat as well. I think the Cowboys match up and can contest these Giants now. And if not for defensive problems, would have at the least, split last season.
Now, the Falcons, well, they have faltered going from December to the playoffs. And their running back and workhorse, Turner, is getting very long of tooth in the NFL. That may prove out to be a point of problems this season. We will have to see if concentrating on the passing game works for this team.
Now, right now, I see Dallas in the very middle of that mix and blend. The thing that will affect the Cowboys most, is not opponent, but the injury and elimination of multiple players that are it's real stars. That will forge direction for them. My opinion.
