Damone Clark’s debut

I am one of Clark’s biggest cheerleaders but he was a little lost today mentally. Not worried at all.

No off-season/preseason, 3wks of practice, thrown in bc of a Barr injury, against the best running team in the league that does a TON of misdirection.

he was still very physical in an effortless way which I loved. I think he’s gonna be pretty good by end of season

There was one play where he flushed Fields in a big way from the pocket and we got a sack. He had WAY more snaps than I thought he would....DQ obviously likes him and he sure looks the part.

I loved seeing it. There were a couple misdirection plays where he got sucked inside and the end lost contain and he wasn’t able to recover, but again… for his first ever action? I’m very encouraged.

Bonus: I also saw him make a pursuit tackle and outrun some of our dbs to do it

It's his first game relax . I'm glad he played well and he looks ok. Next game he needs more starts.

LVE needs to be slowly worked out. Clark and COX need those starts.

Anthony Barr is fine but again stay young in that position.

The reps during the bye week is going to really help him, and it's great he already has some plays on tape he can critique his performance and improve. I thought he was ok and I didn't except too much, so I'm happy with what the Pup did. Clark should play faster next game.

Also, I'd like to know what LB position DQ/Edwards see Clark as...Barr got injured so he filled in WILB, but do they see him as a Mike.

The way LVE is playing right now . . I like to see them with depth.

That's actually what I like about this team. They have depth everywhere.

Even today, when Hooker and Kearse went down, I was like, OK, we still have Mukuamu.

LVE and Clark will be the starting linebackers next season.:omg::laugh:

I wouldn't mind letting LVE come in to compete in camp next year. At least he sets a certain bar for the level of competition, which I can't say for Barr's play right now.

Seriously, the weaker linebacker is Barr. But LVE takes all the heat.

I'm rooting for Clark. I just don't want them to ruin the guy by rushing him back.

Good first outing for Clark and getting it just prior to the bye. I am sure his coaches will review his film with him and point out some positives and some negatives as a learning tool. Excited to see how he develops this second half of the season. Should only get better and more confident.

Not bad for not playing in a game since college. In on 6 tackles. Thrown in there against the number one rushing team. Promising future.
The Boys need a lot of help in there run support because if this thing isn't fixed they're GOING to lose those close games where they're down but can't stop the run to get the ball back.

Played well for first outing. Barr is washed or is Fields the best running quarterback after Lamar.

Fields actually impressed the hell outta me. He might be one of the 5 best pure athletes in the league and he’s doing more with less than any other QB in the league. Safe to say I’m kind of a Fields fan after watching him play today.
