I have no issue with them taking hurt players but I think people dislike doing it in the second round.

Most criticize for taking them too early. Clark in the 5th is fine, taking jaylin in the 2nd was just too early.

This! It’s so frustrating seeing when we go off the beaten path in the second round for a crippled player or someone where you have to tell yourself that you think the player probably cares just enough about playing to get over the laundry list of off field issues.

You take those risks at the earliest in the fourth, but more times than not till the fifth round. It’s too big of a risk with all the other good players on the board. Imagine Chris Jones on this squad. And their were other very good defensive tackles on the board at the time. Someone on the fan keeps trying to argue that Jaylon Smith was a success because of 2018. Uh, no-one year does not make a successful pick when it’s a second rounder that had to redshirt first year.

5th round!!! not like he took a player with drop foot in the top of the 2nd with Jarran Reed still on the board!

Clark was projected as a 1st rounder before he got hurt. The talent is there. Now healthy, he's starting to show it.

Just give this kid a whole off season and WATCH OUT next September.

Definitely. But you can still see he has a lot to learn. He got mixed up a few times on cross routes and was out of position to make a play on short routes right in front of him.
