Does it matter who gets credit? He was a great pick and helps the team win.

It clearly matters to the owner. He's been on a 25 year chase for getting all the credit to himself for building a SB winner.

It's resulted in 3 playoff wins over that stretch. But hey, A for effort, Jerry!

In Jimmy's book he talks about how Jerry tried to take credit for trading for Charles Haley when all he did was pick him up at the airport.

We have criticized Jerry a lot in the last years for taking a risk on picking injured players in the draft but this one is going to pay off big time.

Damone Clark, with a great potential, is growing before our eyes.

We should be very happy for having young studs like Parsons, Sam Williams and Damone Clark. The future of the team is here.

As far as value for a 5th round pick, I agree.

Definitely. But you can still see he has a lot to learn. He got mixed up a few times on cross routes and was out of position to make a play on short routes right in front of him.

After watching Bruce Carter, Jaylon Smith, and Ernie Sims try to figure out route combinations he is already light years ahead. I will take confused and a step slow over completely oblivious.

And Jerry is on record with specifics of a conversation he had with DeBartolo. It was much the same with the Everett trade which was at the heart of Jimmy's departure.

It's like people do not understand how egomaniacs work.

This is nonsense. If that was the case his son would not be in charge of player personnel and McClay would not be in his position.

Jerry just like Jimmy is a huge egomaniac. The difference is that Jerry can share but Jimmy cannot.

Doesnt come as a surprise as he was slotted to be a Top 20 Pick before the injury. Whats surprising is that he is even playing this year let alone making impact plays already. Most people thought he might never recover fully or atleast be done till fall 2023.
