Why is Lee not our full time linebacker coach? It's a travesty to not utilize his knowledge of the position and ability to teach. I thought that was his calling. Can't find out what he is doing now. I did find out Manny Diaz is the DC and the LB coach for the Nittany Lions. So i guess that's why they are not gonna hire someone to threaten Diaz hold. Even moreso to bring Sean to Dallas i would think. But then got my shovel and kept digging some more found out that Dallas LB coach is Scott McCurley....an ex GB coach who came with MM....so good buddies .. That is why he is not our LB coach. LOLLLLL, yeah just call me Inspector Clouseau .

LVE was his best self when Lee was literally in his ear his rook season.

You know what is underrated was what he did with LVE and Jaylon in 2018. I believe he coached them up during the games. They fell off as soon as he retired.

I think you are very right. Jaylon and LVE showed levels of football IQ that season that they were never able to reach again the rest of their careers.

I'll never forget when Lee absolutely stonewalled DeMarco Murray in the backfield on the first carry of his first game against the Cowboys after he signed with Philly. One of my all time favorite plays.

Lee is truly one of those cases of HOF player stuck in a body that gave out too soon.

Good observation I've never heard before.

Just think about it after the 2018 season it looked like we had two young studs at linebacker. They were never the same after that. Injuries with LVE but Jaylon lost everything.

Sean Lee is up there as one of my favourite Cowboys ever and a very sad "what if". I remember his tackle for loss a few years' ago against the Eagles that basically took them out of field goal range, Flew like a missile across the field to tackle the ball carrier.

That man could have been a 1st ballot HOF if injuries hadn't hammered him.

Yep...loved Sean Lee....when you're a smart line backer and know your assignments your intelligence will make it seem like you run a 4.4. Incredible player. If he was on this defense...man
