what I loved is all his field goals looked to go right down the middle. Their was none just inside or almost missed. It looked like dan has been working on his craft. Maybe he took that first miss vs the 49ers to heart and decided he really can't afford to miss anymore. Especially since it seems we are waiting to get the other kicker off PUP after week 6.

but i wonder how he would do in a stadium with a little wind. That will be a good challenge that i hope he can win.

He seem to do ok on kickoffs (I hope he can improve on that kind of like how billy cundiff did).

After the way he has kicked since then, it's hard to believe that he missed that chip shot. I agree -- it seems like he has been right down the middle every time since then.

Only problem I have is my Dogs name is Bailey and every time he made a kick and I hollered way to go Bailey she gets excited. This miss vs 49ers well lets just say she ran outside to get away from me. :laugh2:

I think Bailey is a good kicker after all he did win the Lou Groza last year. He missed a kick and just like when a golfer hits a slice off the tee box you got to put it behind you and move on. Bailey did that.

....he did just fine on that winning 47 yarder at the Stick....or whatever they call that hole by the ocean in SF now! He's a keeper....;)

She must have thought so. I had to go outside to let her know I was not mad at her. :laugh2:

He looks incredibly smooth while kicking.

He doesn't put a lot of power into the ball either. Just lines up and puts it through.

This is all true. I think what hurt Bailey as much as anything in the fans eyes was that the team clearly didn't have that much faith in him, which led to bringing in a number of other kickers to compete. Hopefully Bailey is settled in now.

I read how he said he rushed that muffed kick but wasn't there video of the ball being handled wrong as well? I don't want to gush over him yet because, one, it's still early, and two, I don't want to jinx it.

It'd be a scary sight and just might be worth the arrest but if a kicker misses a 50 yarder or more against us, I'm running around the neighborhood naked.

Bailey said after the 49ers game that he rushed too quickly on that missed field goal and that after that one, he slowed down and went back to his normal pace.

Why is Buehler still on the roster?

We dont need him for FGs and Bailey can kickoff good enough. How bout we use the wasted roster spot that Buehler has and bring in a WR that can actually run routes without the QB telling him where to line up. How many years has Ogletree been here and he still cant line up? Dude must have the IQ of a rock.

Wouldn't it be something if the Cowboys finally found the guy who'll be their placekicker for the next 7 to 10 years?

This undrafted rookie kicker has ice in his veins.

Bailey was straight up money and has been since that short miss.

That was one of the greatest wins that I've ever seen. Beating Washington like that on Monday night was very, very special.

My last dog's name was Dallas (came from the shelter with that name, ironically). After a few weeks in her first football season here she was never quite right on Sunday's again....

we find the good one ... I hope. Bailey looks very accurate, looks good in kickoffs too.

kudos to Bailey
