Dan Bailey

Now this is too much, how can you question that ? Great Kellen ....;)
….no offense to Kellen.....but what about Brady Quinn....Tim Couch....Matt Leinart....Rick Mirer.....to lure out their current ventures.

If only we had a coach like Quinn...... oh wait, his team is 1 and 4.
Maybe if only we had a coach like McCarthy..... wait, his team is 2-2-1.
Well maybe if we had a great sb winning coach like Peterson.... .... wait, he could be 2-3 after today.

Damn... maybe if we had a coach like tomlin.. I mean his Steelers look amazing ... at 2-2-1. Hey, did you notice the amazing chemistry the Steelers had today....lol

Yep. Certainly the mental yips. Kickers are much like golfers and the yips are real. I unfortunately know
Welcome to the forum.

Good analogy. When I would start to lose my swing the best thing I could do was just walk away for about six painful weeks. Then my muscle memory would cause me to swing correctly when I came back. But if I tried to fix my swing I just got worse and created bad habits. Just one guys experience...

Bailey just drilled a 52 yarder to possibly ice the game, we’re idiots again for cutting him..:p

I still like bailey...he won a lot of games for us...hope he works it out

He barely just made a extra point. The vikings are trying to give this ball game away.

Well, yeah, 3 of them won Super Bowls early in their tenure with their team. So there's that. I'd like for the Cowboys to win a Super Bowl.

I want him to do well but not as good as our kicker. LOL

It happened to me in baseball. I was a catcher, and my only saving grace was I had a great arm. Then one game I overthrew a pick off attempt at first, to the extent the runner scored (like I said, I had a strong arm!). It got into my head, and eventually I couldn't even get the ball back to the pitcher cleanly. I got benched for the remainder of the year, and I never fully recovered. Thank God for hockey!

You won’t find many people ‘round these parts who will give this FO credit for anything. But indeed, they clearly made the right move.

But why does he have to choke today of all days??

I don't think his issue is mental. I think the injuries have changed his kicking motion, similar to what we saw happen to Tiger's golf swing. Can he find a way to kick consistently at distance with a new kicking motion?

Glad we aren't the test case.
