It wasn't out of nowhere. Bailey had a groin injury with us. Lost his accuracy. Appears to have gotten it back.

I thought there was a good chance he'd get his accuracy back someday when we cut him, but a good chance not too, and it was unclear how long it might take even if it did happen. Unlike Vanderjagt, he was young enough to have time to get it back.

They decided to go with the younger guy who seemed to have a good leg and accuracy. Hard to fault that. But something to keep in mind with a young kicker who out performs an older guy. The younger guy doesn't have a demonstrated record of *keeping* their accuracy over years like the older guy.
