Ignorant and arrogance is beginning to seep into the mindsets of our team now. It’s around that time of year where we fall apart and this is why.
Tend to agree on this! They sure played just like that team that had those ugly losses last year. That Texans game is a bold statement into what's why this offense is not a true top offense. But now that Steele is out Dak has another excuse.

Jalen Hurts is going to have his way with this defense. He can really scoot when he needs to. We better plan on really mixing in some Zone D or he will just wait till the DB's are running downfield and be out the back, front and side door.

Right on brother. Dak and his ridiculous excuses for…
running the league’s top offense. But we’re too smart to fall for it. So there!

Yep don't fall for the cheese. Top offense against crap teams. The struggles are real when the playoffs hit. This was just a preview game.

The Texans played out of their minds and with great pride and effort. Their coaching staff came up with very good game plan and their defense took away most of the middle of field intermediate passes. They hard tackled the ball out of receivers hands and frankly some of our wideouts had the ball receiving yips. Dak got hurried up when Steele went out and Ball came in. Thank goodness Peters replaced him. We knuckled down came from behind in the waning moments of the 4th quarter and won the game. The struggle against the Texans will serve us well in the remaining games and getting into the post season.

Good teams usually take care of bad teams in the first quarter. They don't usually wait until their QB throws an int and gets returned to the 5 yard line.
I can tell you this if Dak did that against the Eagles that would of just sealed their fate. Plus Dak will never here the end of it!
The Eagles didnt put away Houston, Indy, or Washington in the first quarter....

We gave Houston 17 points on turnovers. Clean up the poor throws / special team fumble and its not a close a game.

If we’re guaranteed to fail, why watch? Why ANY interest? Unless you LIKE/NEED misery…

No sacks against a DOUBLE DIGIT DOG, hey Quinn get your head out of your ***!!!!!!!!!!!!! Look for TENN, JACKSONVILLE and the EAGLES to run it up on these poor boys!
Because everything was off the read option action. Not to mention they changed QBs every drive so its hard to gauge where a QB will be when its a different QB

This was an ugly win.
BUT STILL A WIN.

This was a crazy frustrating game to watch. This game had it all; turnovers and insane play calls and injuries. But, despite what you would think reading the Cowboys' forum, it was a WIN. I'll take an ugly win over a tremendous loss every Sunday.

..watch that bloke's posts. Never has anything positive to say. It's bizarre.

I think he's here for annoyance.
At least he's self aware lol. "Mr. Positive" as his status.

I'm a fan of reality! And it's coming buddy!
I disagree. You seem to be quite disconnected from it at the moment. I’m sure it’s tough to find some ways to discredit the offense, but it’s obvious that you’re the one scrambling for excuses

Did anyone ask him what happened to the pass rush? I think the answer is they are more focused on the run now which has made them less aggressive against the pass, but this week, they need pressure on the QB.

I think lovie smith had a good game plan for us. Almost all rpo based. And threw every look they could against Dak. Didn’t they play the egirls hard also.

If you have a really good defense, despite short fields, you shouldn’t make it so easy for the offense without starting receivers, without a competent TE, and with 2 backup QBs score TDs. That’s to be expected by previous Dallas defenses, but I expected more from this one. We also let all these backups irpass their season average for yards. Not good.

I still disagree and not only that, those last 4 stops at the goal line was incredible. That should have been a gimme for any NFL team. They couldn’t punch it in. Take away the TOs and the Cowboys win this comfortably. I am started to get annoyed with these TOs. 9 to 20 should have been the final score. A slightly comfortable two score win, but those TOs give bad teams life and cause good teams to beat you.

Whatever serves the “we suck, we’re doomed” mind set. We have to be miserable 24/7, or we’re not being real!
