If ONLY.....

1st Round - DT- Aaron Donald - Instant replacement for Jason Hatcher. Quick twitch guy.

2nd Round - (Trade down pick up extra 4th) DT- Dominique Easley - If he checks out medically he can easily find himself taken in the 2nd round. I would be willing to do it for this player. Has the chance to be SPECIAL. He can 1 tech in this scheme. Him and Donald could be quite the disruptive pair.

3rd Round - Terrence Brooks FS - The play making FS we need! I love this kid, and I think he isn't a huge step down from Pryor.

4th Round - Mike Davis WR - Good receiver we've all been clamoring for. Did a nice job for Texas this year, and is a local kid.

4th Round - Kareem Martin DE- Not a huge fan, but he has the traits to work with. Excellent size, and with the proper coaching can develop into a nice player.

5th Round - Christian Kirksey OLB
- Not sure he drops this far, but he is a good player. Excellent in coverage. Projects as a weak side linebacker in this scheme.

7th Round - Kadeem Edwards G

7th Round - John Urschel G

7th Round - Glenn Carson MLB

I am completely against drafting Easley in the early rds, this guy is the definition of the type of player we should be avoiding,a player who just cannot stay healthy at all.I wouldnt touch him in the first 5 rds.

Easley is going to be a 1 tech at 285? I think he's closer to a SDE than a 1 tech. Like the player but I'd be more comfortable with him in the 3rd where there's a little less at stake.

That's what play he played at Florida and nfl scouts think he can play in the nfl. He can play either the 1 or the 3

this I first I heard of Terrence Brooks FS

A former cornerback who is asked to drop down and cover slot receivers, on occasion, demonstrating good balance, fluidity and change of direction for coverage. Brooks is more physical than you might expect given his cornerback background, often dropping down into a linebacker-like role for the Seminoles

COMPARES TO: Louis Delmas, Detroit Lions: Neither boasts the imposing size scouts would prefer but the instincts, athleticism and closing speed are there to overcome it

nice job

I like Easly in the 2 rd that's where CBS has him going but who knows

He's a 3 tech/5 tech. I'd love to see where a scout called Dominique Easley a 1 tech. Good football player and would fit our scheme, he's just not even close to a 1 tech.

I like Mike Davis and his value would be good there. But where would he play? Would he replace T Williams?
I don't see him in the slot.

But in the 4th round, he'd be worth it.

Read the posts there. Google Dominique Easley 1 technique. A ton of articles. He's a matchup nightmare at the 1. So quick.

Broaddus said it a couple days ago too on a twitter mention, that he can play the 1 or the 3.

He played both DT positions and end at Florida. He was the best at the 1, that's why scouts love him there

He is a jay Ratliff clone, when Jay Ratliff was in his prime. Undersized DT that uses his quickness

I love how u think u know everything, and talk like im an idiot...

Guys at rotoworld, guys at cbs, broaddus a ton of people like Easley best at the one technique... I wouldn't say something if I didn't know what I was talking about. Just because he's 285 means nothing, he could easily play at 290 or 295 like Jay Ratliff did

No more 3rd-4th rd picks at FS! Either go with Rd 1 or let Wilcox/Heath develop.

I'm fine with giving Wilcox, Heath, and Matt Johnson 1 more year. If they want to focus this whole draft on defensive line, linebacker, and an offensive guard im completely fine with that!

Injuries are the one thing we need to watch for as it is the reason for the defensive collapse. However, if he makes it to the 4th or 5th round and we have not done better before these picks, it is worth a out side shot.

Having Easliy at the 1 tech would be a waste. He is a 3 tech or SDE. I would love to draft him because I think he could be a stud.

I like the terrence Brooks pick. I think he will be a steady starter, never a pro bowler but a true starter atleast.

I would tend to agree with that. They have a lot of guys with potential (Wilcox, Heath, Matt Johnson or even Jakar Hamilton) but minimal experience. Even Church has limited experience.

I don't know if adding a rookie 3rd round pick is going to solve the issue. If they don't think one of the existing guys can step up and take the job, then they might want to consider a veteran free agent.

Wilcox can't stay on the field

Heath and Johnson - JAGS who can't play

Naaah... Easley is a 3 technique in this 4-3 scheme. I like your 3rd round selection though.
