Now that was funny & cute too. Now if I had to pick among Stauback, Aikman & Romo who could step in for Dandy Don in that clip, I'd go with Romo. I think Stauback could also handle it but his image would be in the way. Aikman could try it but... Yep, Romo would be a natural; he does have Meredith's laid back attitude & sense of humor on the surface but both QBs were/are highly competitive. Their aw shucks manner is similar although Meredith sure looks good in a tux.
