Think we are going to get a lot of different opinions with this positional grouping:

7-Robinson
20-Gibbs-Combine
61-Achane-Combine
62-Charbonnet
67-Spears-private workout
88-Bigsby-Combine
90-Johnson-Combine

Notice there are a ton of backs still available after the top 100, which makes taking a high RB very risky, some ranked past 100:

-Miller-Combine, 30 Visit
-Evans-30 Visit
-Abanikanda-Combine
-McIntosh-Senior Bowl
-Gray-Combine
-Chase Brown

Miller is one of my favorites in the class. Very surprised he didn’t make the cut.

I have seen him rated in the early 90's. Think he is the favorite to be drafted by the team and probably have to take him there. Dane's beast comes out on monday, we will get to see where these others fall.

I understand he’s battles some injuries but he’s averaged about 7 YPC for his career…Dane must be factoring the injury concerns in.

Think he still is unable to workout from an injury last yr in the college playoffs. They Cowboys are strongly linked to the player.

it's because he is running through holes as big as a hummer most of the time.

I also said Miller and I meant Evans.

Zach Evans is one of my favorites but I’m also high on Kendre Miller.

3rd rd is probably the sweet spot to take the back of your liking, but they can probably wait to the 4th rd to still land a good option

3rd or 4th. I feel like our fans keep forgetting we have Pollard who if bounces back from injury is a top 10 RB.

Obviously we want to look at the future whoever we draft is a backup. Love the mid round options.

They clearly are looking at all the backs, but did say they want a power back to complement Pollard. This back will probably see about a 1/3 of the carries and compete to become the short yardage/red zone back with Jones. Just grab a quality one by the 4th rd.

All this talk about Robinson and there are probably 6 or 7 lower rated running backs in this draft I'd be happy with. Sure, none of them are a 'star', but that's not what the position is anymore.

Maybe they'll double dip......think about it. Remove Pollard, we don't have a starting RB and not much of a backup. What better time to stock up on the position than now? Take one with a top 3 pick and another one on the back end ( 6th or 7th )

It would be more of a luxury to double dip as they have many areas to address. It's looking like their top 4 priorities, in no particular order: LG, CB, WR, RB. Add in they need another TE, NT, LB. Not going to be able to address everything.

To me receiver could be either a WR or TE, but it appears they are more interested in adding another Wide receiver. Did you get to see the Martz video yesterday? We need help with both.

Yes, I did but you make a good point about receivers. There are 124 catches that need replacing ( Zeke, Brown, Shultz and Hilton) for players not long on the team. I know they like Fergurson but he played in 16 games starting 8 but only had 19 catches. Just don't know if he's ready. It's why a TE with 26, 58 or 90 would not surprise me at all.

i still think TE is going to be addressed. Too good of a class to ignore it.

If you see the drop off in the SF game once Pollard went down, it should be clear that our ‘back up’ cannot be a back up but a starting quality RB

In any event I don’t believe Pollard can last the whole season as the lead back
