I wouldn’t be mad if they tried for the FS.
A kid with below normal football/ ball instincts.....never seen where that can be "coached up",

Maybe Garrett will add a instincts coach, league innovation

"Marginal instincts. Struggles with route combinations and often caught in no man's land. Late to read or anticipate with poor backfield vision. Hooked on underneath action and late to recover over the top. Bites on receiver fakes or hesitation, leading to big plays for the offense (Ole Miss receiver A.J. Brown victimized him with a double-move out of the slot, which resulted in a 77-yard touchdown reception in the 2017 edition of the Egg Bowl)"

Webster defines instinct as "a natural or inherent aptitude, impulse, or capacity".

Instincts don't change, you can maybe teach and train actions to combat your instincts, but if he declined for 2 successive years, it's not likely he's going to suddenly turn around. He might over an extended period of time. Maybe take a 7th round flyer and put him on the practice squad, but the PS is limited and will potentially be taking a spot from a better prospect.

So now we're hoping to build a SB team with "catching lightning in a bottle" 5 or 6 times?

NO...
