I've always wanted his draft guide, but didn't want to subscribe to The Athletic for it. I went and checked it out today and found that I could subscribe for a $1 for every four weeks right now and cancel at any time. I used to buy draft guides for much, much more than that.

Days gone by. Couldn’t wait for the draft guides to start hitting the news stands back in the day. There is something to be said for that mode of information transfer. Today it’s all out there online so those trips to Borders and Barnes & Noble are long gone. More information today obviously but the old way was pretty dam good too.

I would buy at least ........Pro Football Weekly, Sporting News and Smith Street. Love Sporting News would do a preview of the next year top players. I still have a Dallas Cowboy weekly draft magazine with Tony Dorrsett on the cover right after he was drafted. Great times.......
