With the declining ratings, I'm sure NASCAR itself begged Danica to come to the sport and, of all those to race for/with, join Dale Jr.'s Nationwide team.

It's all over nascar.com.

She will find it a littttle harder to drive these cars. lol

Sam Hornish is a much better driver than she is and he's all over the track.

Drove fine in Indy. Lots of Indy drivers have done well in NASCAR. Driving is driving.

Not if you aren't used to driving a full body car. The cars weigh twice as much and the tires are half the size and have fenders so the driver can see as well. She will have problems at first but hopefully she can overcome them.

She will have to get used to driving slower because those Indy cars top out at a higher speed.

THAT was pretty good.

Actually more Indy drivers over the years have had success in NASCAR then NASCAR drivers have had at INDY (in Indy Cars).

How many Nascar drivers have gone to Indy?

It will be interesting to see if a 100 pound girl can handle these cars. I want to see what happens when someone puts her in the wall, which will happen. She cries now when someone doesn't move for her.

They didn't beg her to do anything - she's been mulling it over for a few years now. She is going to get a lesson - watch.

That is absolutely not true.

Years ago when the cars were harder to handle little Mario Andretti won the Daytona 500. So size matters not. Sarge, you really need to think before you post.

Why should they? They can make more in NASCAR and be more famous. The only Indy races that anyone even watches is the Indy 500.

She will have her problems with a much bigger and heavier car. All former open wheel drivers do at first.

Can't wait till she comes around a corner with Kyle Busch to the inside.:laugh1: I may have to watch a Nationwide race now. Nascar wins.
