Player Rankings and Mock Drafts should be somewhat different. Mock Drafts are what you think teams *will do*, player rankings are where you think a players value lies.

Like I just said. he assumes other people have them ranked differently than he does. So he thinks Buffalo likes the player way more than he does. Happens all the time...and especially with QBs.

I tweeted to Brugler the other day when he said Gilbert was the biggest 1st round reach in the last decade. I asked him why do you say that when you mocked him consistently in top 10. His reply:

I'm not going to debate what I think is obvious with you. I feel silly for getting sucked into this conversation.
Not sure why it even bothers you unless maybe you are a fan of one of he players passed over? Kizer maybe?

Buffalo HAS already expressed interest in both of the QBs you mentioned btw.

Kiper's final mocks do the same things.

I'll just back out of this and assume we are just not on the same page.

Not sure that's true.
Think issue is you are missing that in one instance (mocks) he's using outside resources, history, scheme, coaching style to guess; in other (top 50) he's using his own judgment with zero regard to scheme or fits.

I believe Pat Mahomes is the best QB in this draft class but I wouldn't mock him top 20 (right now).

If he did a mock where he just put his top guy at a position to the team with that positional need it'd be the laziest mock draft ever.

Kizer wasnt even good enough to be named the clear starter week to week. Zaire was also pretty good. Talk about ? marks.

May not be inside information per say, may just be the beat guys who cover the team liked him, which would make sense. I think he's a better version of Tyron Taylor, but considering that this is a different staff, that doesn't mean much
