If he last to our pick then you have to take him. If not then next year would be the year to spend a 1st round pick on a OT. maybe even trade up for one.
Taylor Moton could be a later pick who can play right tackle for us

I think Morton goes day 2. He can play right tackle but he may be a better guard then tackle in the NFL.

I watched some Michigan games. He played corner, safety, rb, and linebacker. To me he made more of an impact at lb.

On defense he played almost primarily as a Hybrid LB, an undersized one but a LB no less. He simply doesn't carry anywhere near the size to play as a traditional LB at the NFL level. He's gonna either make it as a safety or he won't as a professional IMO.

I like him too. He might be a better lb. Are you concerned about his low interception and fumble totals?

No.

Everybody said that Jalen Ramsey couldn't make interceptions and he had an exceptional season and had more INT's this year than he had his entire career at FSU. And this was playing for a lousy Jags team that you didn't need to throw the ball against because their offense stunk.

I think he's too small to play LB. He's a stud athlete with great hands for a defensive player and tackles well. The problem is that I think when they get thru the combine and the workouts he is no longer available. The draft lists at this time of the year are usually a joke.

It's not like he had 5 picks. He had 2. One was against a terrible qb, whoever the titans backup is.

He dominated as a corner this year and people acted like he couldn't catch the ball. If we had Ramsey playing any of our CB positions, it would be an enormous upgrade.

I don't think anyone said Ramsey wouldn't be an upgrade over our cbs OR safeties. Peppers is only a safety candidate and yes he'd be an upgrade over Church more than likely due to his speed but I just wish I had more film of him in space playing the position he was meant to play. We saw Ramsey plenty at safety/corner to get a good vibe of what he would become.

He had 2 picks, 15 PBUs playing against opposing teams #1 receiver. His coverage metrics were outstanding for a rookie CB, which outside of QB is the hardest position to make the step up from college.

If Peppers somehow slides to 28, I hope we sprint up to the podium with the card.

Unless of course someone like Barnett is sitting there. :flagwave:
