If Pitts is there you have to consider him. He is a top 5 prospect. You talking about a possible situation like we had with CeeDee last draft. I am a fan of Surtain and rank him way ahead of Chaisson but Pitts is a game changer at tight end. Nobody can cover him.
that has been the case every year a TE some how makes it into the 1st round grades. TE is weird position in CFB, so much of the guys dominate there but are average to above average http://www.drafthistory.com/index.php/positions/te

This year is easy to figure out. I’m seeing the Cowboys board as:

Parson ILB just a beast in general, he’s unstoppable, blitz him up the A gap
Pitts-TE
Sewell -OL mauler w attitude
Slater-LT solid pass protection

My only question is can Pitts block Parsons or can Parsons cover Pitts. I think the answer comes down to no for both and what do you want defense or offense. Pitts is basically like Randy Moss at the TE position. Both might be gone by 10 and I’m not sold on the OL Slatter/Sewell.....maybe they need a backup plan On the DL
