It’s not the weight that slowed him down. He was listed at around 240 his rookie year and looked much faster. The ankle injury slowed him down. Cooper Rush took off on a run earlier in the season and looked faster than Dak.

I don’t know he ran for a first down against Washington up the middle looks pretty good. Doing so.

He didn’t hold back on that run. I think some of the problem is he’s been tentative when he runs ever since the ankle injury. He doesn’t look comfortable running.
