That was coming out of college, Jones would smoke Dak in a 40 now. Dak looks like he’s lost at least two steps since his rookie year. He looks like he’s trotting when he runs. Jones looks much faster.

There’s at least 5 incompletions a game that could be runs for first downs if dak chose to run.

I don't believe he's coached to run often. KM wants him to be a pocket passer.

Where did you get Dak's 40 time from? I think Jones has always been faster...4.72 at the combine and 4.67 at his pro day. All I can find is Dak running a 4.79 at the combine. But after 7 years and some injuries, he is much slower now

He didn’t hold back on that run. I think some of the problem is he’s been tentative when he runs ever since the ankle injury. He doesn’t look comfortable running.

Being terribly indecisive about it doesn’t help.

Dak DiD get uo to 11.36 MPH on a QB run this year. He's right there with Zeke now.

Crazy how dak has a better 40 time but doesn’t look as fast as jones or maybe dak thinks he’s above scrambling.

If I recall Jones had one of the fastest clocked speeds a year or two ago. It may have been on that long run where he stumbled at the end, although my memory is fuzzy. But turns out he can flat out fly once he gets moving.
