He was discussing the drive killer at the Denver 15 when Jones took off running had the first down and instead of sliding got the ball knocked out . I’m so glad Dak has never coughed it up much .

You know, Denver did it too inside the 5 yard line. It happens. Did it again but the knee was down a split second before the fumble. Dropped a TD pass too.

Watching that game you can see the Giants OL needs some upgrades. They can't run block and they give Jones a limited amount of time. Unfortunately for Jones he'll be the scapegoat. And probably rightfully so. He's no great QB. If you notice, QBs Jackson and Mayfield didn't get their extension. I think teams are starting to think twice before paying a QB that isn't elite a king's ransom.

I think it was Tony Boselli on the radio was saying Jones is totally inaccurate. Gettlemen caught grief for this pick and the Andrew Thomas # 1 last yr at tackle. If this is a sub 500 yr in Giant land a house cleaning might occur and Jason can once again put his name in the ring as HC somewhere.

When I think of greats in the 70’s you had the Len Dawson’s Snake Stabler of course Roger but Terry Bradshaw had a rifle for an arm and 4 SB rings one of the best of that decade.

They had a great D but they moved the chains scored points man has FOUR rings . Not bad

Peyton & Bro Eli have 2 rings not bad . Jones is a fumbling machine it’s a drive killer . I’m from the school of this is meant to win SB’s kind of a league. Romo had fat stats and laughable playoff success .

Yep. They got a late pick deep in Washington territory. Around the 20. They basically played for a FG. Prior to that WR Slater is it? He drops a TD pass. Wide open busted coverage. That would have given the Giants a 10 point lead with around 5 minutes left.

On Washington's final drive one of the Giants was flagged for lining up in the neutral zone. I forget the details, but it was a huge penalty. Then Washington misses the FG but DT Dexter Lawrence jumps off sides giving them another chance 5 yards closer.

Wow didn’t realize the Giants had all that going on. As an NFL observer on Daniel Jones I think he can be a winning QB but that front office needs to draft heavily in offensive line help. He’s running for his life.

When Dallas drafted Smith Frederick Martin got Collins it changed the success of the offense.

As a side note wanted to watch part of the Giants Wash game could not find it in DFW market. I have ATT Uverse cable it’s very reliable unlike other cable outfits but they parted ways with the NFL Network couple yrs ago. I got the Dallas Tampa game a week ago on NBC 5 , anyone know why this past Thurs night game not on in Dallas metro ?

Danny Dimes looks like a mix of 75% Trubisky and 25% Romo at this stage.

I think Romo may have looked like Jones if Romo would have started earlier in his career.

In two separate trades late August the Giants gave up a decent D/linemen BJ Hill in return they got Billy Price from the Bengals a former First rounder then they gave up a 5th rounder next year for Ben Bredeson of the Ravens . Two serviceable parts
