heard him on sirius today with gil brandt. he only had 2 sacks this past year, but said it was a read and react scheme that focused on stopping the run. had 15+ tackles for loss. sounded like a good kid.

His size & combine numbers are near identical to Anthony Barr even his tackles & TFL's are in the ball park. I wouldnt be surprised to see us draft him & use him at the Sam the way the Vikings use Barr..... Actually id be pretty happy of we did that

The guy is a work in progress, the ultimate boom or bust player. Nearly every report I've read has been near identical. "Freak Athlete, not a Football player. Will need at least a year, maybe two before he should be expected to contribute in any meaningful way." I would pass emphatically on a project of this magnitude that early.

Im shocked so many people don't like this. If you are a believer in Marinelli this is exactly the type of player you want to add.. Someone completely raw who has the talent to be something great. I would take him in the 2nd.. Marinelli can get him right.

I bet for every extremely, extremely raw athlete that actually develops at the NFL level, there are 20 who bust out very quickly. Marinelli is great, but I wouldn't spend a high pick on a project of this magnitude. Would rather draft a more technically sound player with upside who just needs some refinement. Cooper, Bennett, Mauldin, Z. Smith are the types of guys i want the team to target.

Both those guys had extremely productive college careers.. I don't see the comparisons at all. They also were both top 40 picks.. Any pick has the potential to bust but if you believe in Marinelli there is nothing wrong with drafting a guy with exceptional physical tools.. sometimes it doesn't work but sometimes it does (Ziggy Ansah etc)

Danielle Hunter could have a pick range of about 40. If a team thinks they can teach him how to rush (every bit of it) I could see late 1st.
