Danny Parkin's is making the case for the Cowboys to be on upset alert in week 1

I feel a beat down coming. I think Dallas is going to thrash New York and beat Dart to a pulp.

The Giants will be coached by Harbaugh. They will be a scrappy football team with an edge. It wouldn't surprise me at all if the Cowboys fell to them in a hard fought tough game.

People need to stop underestimating the Giants.

Division games are dog fights and there are always some upsets every year.

That said— Dak flat out owns the NYG and while I expect the Giants to come out swinging and for the game to chippy all the way until the final whistle— Dallas has too much firepower to be held in check for 4 quarters and Parker will have the D ready to stand on their business

Dallas 27
NYG 17

Ive been saying this for a while. The 10 years of walking over the Giants is over. For the foreseeable future I see the cowboys splitting with them each season with the occasional double loss thrown in.

Cowboy fans are in for a rude awakening this year as the division will be tougher. The cowboys have had a cakewalk to the playoffs for the past 5ish seasons.

Danny’s opening statement is 1000% correct. One of the Giants biggest problems last year was mental discipline, and they solved it with the hire of Harbaugh. And their biggest strength is their defensive front, and don’t forget the addition of Arvel Reece. For the Cowboys, Terrence Steele and Tyler Guyton were both turnstile tackles last year( when healthy), and they are the projected starters for opening night. That should scare every Cowboy fan to they’re core.
