Danny Shelton

Most know Shelton from his combine blow up at 340ish pounds that seemed unreal. Most, including myself, want a fat guy 1Tech to dominate the LOS.

Danny will be a free agent this summer and its pretty obvious the Pats wont be looking to resign him. If his issue is hand placement there is not a person in this world better suited to work with than Rod M. I'd love for us to make a run at him in free agency and it doesnt seem it will be all that costly. Thoughts?

thought it was a good pick at the time.
I'd give him a shot here...I dont think he'd break the bank.

Im not sure his status in the offseason, but if available he fits the mold of guys we sometimes go for. Former high draft picks that havent worked out for whatever reason.

I could see him here on a 1 year deal.

I think there is a good possibility he wouldnt beat out Woods. But if he can elevate his game and play at near his talent, there are things he can do Woods cant

I read today that the three prospects that we were targeting in the draft were LVE, Derwin, and VEA!!!

So that means we were willing to spend a 1st on 1Tech which is fantastic news on how they the 1tech position.

But yeah youre right on the reclamation projects. I hope this is one we take a swing at

They'll be plenty NT to choose from come FA. Shelton fits DAL's FA approach cause he won't demand a big payday. Another big boi to pair with Woods would be a good move.
