HUMAN JOYSTICK ON THE BLOCK
A league source tells us that the Chiefs are shopping veteran receiver/return specialist Dante Hall.
Hall, 28, was the pre-eminent kick and punt returner earlier this decade. In 2003, Hall had 25.9 average yards per kick return and 16.3 average yards per punt return, both career highs. He also scored four total return touchdowns.
Since then, however, his performance as a returner has declined. Still, he possesses a skill that is of high value in the NFL, and with Pacman Jones out for the entire season, we think that one of the first teams who should give the Chiefs a call is the Tennessee Titans.
Hall is signed through 2008, at salaries of $1.5 million this year and $1.9 million next year.link:profootballtalk.com

Any interest in you guys to get Hall?

marginal reciever who is likely on the down swing of his career.
We have a couple decent return guys already on the team

Don't really want him. Outside of his breakthrough season, really hasn't done much.

Meh.

He would be an upgrade over Crayton at PR but, no thanks.

I want to see what Miles Austin can do out there returning punts.

Just like Desmond Howard we all went wow! And then it was over as soon as it began.

Hall's value is as an all around threat. He's a KR,PR,wr and reverse guy. In Dallas, he'd be without his KR value as we don't need it here with 2 guys that averaged 26 yards per return, where Hall averaged 22.8. As far as PRs go, TNew was better last year averaging more yards per return than Hall and matching his 1 TD. He would also take a roster spot away from one of our young WRs in all likelyhood. He is, as was said, a marginal(at best) WR. Not worth it. He's a Kelvin Martin type(not as good a WR as Kelvin) and if you're gonna have one on your team, you need to draft one, not trade for one that could be on the downside. Unless they'd take a 6th? :)

Yea, no thanks, looks like he lost a step.

Imagine if they traded him that one year he was hot?

The Skins would of given them all their picks, seeing how the Skins seem to give away picks

I might throw one of our spare 7th rounders their way, but nothing more than that.

if he was cut I'd be slightly interested, but not anything in a trade.
