Hey guys! Haven't done one of these all year. Been thinking about what I honestly think Cowboys will do and address in free agency and draft. Have done a lot of studying on the draft. Love to hear you thoughts on what you think, and how realistic this is.

First order of business before free agency begins is Brandon Carr. I think he takes a pay cut and sticks.

Resign

James Hanna -
This is a definite especially with Gavin Escobar's injury. Be shocked if this doesn't happen.

Lance Dunbar - The money should be right coming off the injury. Coaching staff loves him.

Roland McClain - Just think this happens, although not a fan. Hopefully it's an incentive based.

Kyle Wilber - Mostly for special teams purposes, but depth at linebacker too.

Jack Crawford - I think he wants to test market and see if anyone is willing to give him a crazy contract because of his sacks this year. If that happens, he could walk. But I just think coaching staff loves him and somehow gets him to stay.

Mackenzy Bernadeau -
Low cost 2 year deal to keep him around for depth and backup center.

Ronald Leary -
They'll place the tender. Probably the 2nd rounder. Just have to see if anyone matches it.

Free Agency

Lamar Miller RB
- I know he really wants to come to Dallas, its just a question of if he's willing to take a little less then he wants.

Adrian Clayborn DE - If Broaddus said this on the air, it's obviously with good faith this will happen.

Kendall Reyes DT - Cowboys liked him a few years ago in the draft. Really athletic interior guy who is only 26 and was a 2nd round pick just couple years ago. He's played out of a position in San Diego as a 3-4 DE, he is better suited utilizing his athleticism inside in a 4-3. He can play 1 tech in this scheme.

Justin Durant OLB - I think they wanted him back really bad last year he just got overpaid by Atlanta. They love his versatility and he would be dirt cheap. I think he could be the starter at strong side linebacker.

Patrick Robinson CB - Had a really good bounce back year for Chargers. Only allowed over 30 yards 1 time in a game this year. Should be cheap too.

Draft

1st Rd - Jalen Ramsey CB
- Immediately upgrade at corner. Gives secondary another explosive athlete who could cover. Dallas would use at corner.

2nd Rd - Jonathan Bullard DT/DE - Love this kid. So disruptive. Has the versatility Cowboys like, can play 1 tech, 3 tech or DE.

3rd Rd - Kenny Lawler WR - Tall, athletic receiver that can go up and get the football. Immediately would compete with Terrence for the #2 role.

4th Rd - Dak Prescott QB - They love this kid. Has gotten better every year, smart football player. Good kid that will continue to develop.

4th Rd (Compensatory) - Antonio Morrison ILB - Physical, athletic linebacker that captained Florida's the last few years. Really talented kid. Just question if he falls this fall due to some medical issues.

6th Rd - Henry Krieger Coble TE - Physical, blocking TE that could play inline

6th Rd - Daryl Worley CB

6th Rd - Ron Thompson DE

Nice write up, and can't complain about it. Of course a few things I would change, but every one has a bit of different opinion. Mostly based of preferences over value.

Free Agents
I am ready to move on from Wilber, but not to the point it would really irk me if he stays. Just have some competition. I like Durant, but can he stay healthy, ready to move on.

Draft
I would look at LB, Josh Perry in the 3rd, not a WR at that point. Maybe take one later if BPA
Not sure about the late round picks, but I am not a draft guru, and just about every mock draft from everyone, from the 6th round on, is really a guess. Well, it is from me any way. LOL.

I really like this, and I think it is very possible, my only problem is that it would mean Clayborn starting at DE, at least until Gregory is back. I would like to see us spend a little money there.

I have Worley in one of my mocks in the 6th as well.

Looks good! Im worried about the Dline though. I would hope we would get a line capable of 40 sacks with 5-10 extra sacks coming from linebackers and safeties.

This is a good, realistic FA lay out.

I tend to believe Dallas would rather have Mo and his upside over Carr and his downward trajectory but one of the 2 back and a lot of emphasis on our own makes sense.

I'm a big Gator fan - and love the Bullard and Morrison picks. Two major parts of one of the nations very best defenses.

I could see Bullard playing some DE in running situations and inside for base/passing downs. I think he has the potential to be better than Crawford, myself.

As for Morrison, I keep reading about his instincts being a problem. I personally didn't see that. He's very aggresive - and that comes with pros and cons - but I think he absolutely has starter potential.
