Anybody on this yet?

I'm up to episode 7 and think it's head and shoulders above every other cape tv show out there.

Elektra is inspired. Love who the cast and I think she brings a lot to the show.

The punisher is good, not exactly who I would have cast but he handles it well.

An improvement on the first season and puts anything DC is doing in the flarrow/Supes/Legend/zombie-verse to shame.

It's amazing the same company are doing that agents of shield crap and this at the same time.

I don't watch, but...... network television vs cable/streaming network..... no contest.....

Also the cinematographer of season two is really talented... so i'm not surprised by the improvement.

Enjoy!

Season 2 was underwhelming.

I think the Flash is doing a much better job for the most part than Season 2 of Daredevil.

I've watched through episode 9. It has been really good so far. Elodie Yung has been amazing as Electra and Bernthal has done a great job as the Punisher. I like how they seem to do four episode arcs and tie them all together for the season. These guys have done a great job of script and casting in both seasons actually. I see hints of them setting up for the "Born Again" story-line. That would make for an epic season 3, 4 or whenever they can get it in.

I've watched two episodes only so far and I'm almost ready to claim this the best live action rendition of The Punisher yet. Maybe my opinion will change as I go deeper into the season.

I'm at episode 9. Still don't know where it's going but I'm enjoying it.

Daredevil is maybe least interesting thing about his own show.

Bernthal is the best Punisher in tv or movies.

Elodie Yung is Electra. They nailed that character the way they nailed Kingpin in season 1. Frankly, her Electra has far more personality and depth than the character has ever had in the comics. I don't know what Frank Miller is talking about with his dismissal of the actress before even seeing an episode. I don't know if she makes it out of this season but I really want an Electra series.

The enemy this season doesn't seem as significant. Just a bunch of random gangsters so far.

I tried watching the flash. Just could not get past the ...teen or tweener vibe it had going. Although to be fair it was way better than the one episode I could not even get through of the DC heroes of tomorrow. I mean I can deal with cheesy, I am a whovian and liked torchwood...just could not do the dc shows on the CW.

It's ironic you using the word vibe when one of the main characters on The Flash IS Vibe. :D I hear what you saying though. DC's Legends of Tomorrow is about as captivating as chalk on a whiteboard.

An episode of Arrow grabs my attention every once in a while. I just can't get into that show. Oliver Queen is a solid character but no one else seems realistic enough for me. When I say realistic I mean how I could envision seeing them existing and interacting in the real world.

I could say the same thing about some characters of The Flash. Harrison Wells and Iris and Joe West are fairly grounded, balanced characters. Barry Allen has been improving episode by episode. I hope they allow the character to totally separate himself from the cheese at some point before the series ends.

What does make me a fan of the series is its dedication to exploring his comic universe of the Speed Force, time travel, and alternate dimensions. Flash is not just about speed and the show has done a good job of visually conceptualizing the sci-fi strengths connected with the character--so much so that I can overlook limburger efforts of presenting Grodd, King Shark, The Trickster, etc., to its audience.

I cannot say enough good things about DareDevil and Jessica Jones series on Netflix. Practically every episode presents main and supporting characters interacting like everyday people dealing their issue like anybody else--except with extraordinary abilities. Agents of SHIELD (and Gotham to a lesser extent) may be the only broadcast network series based on a DC or Marvel comic that doesn't need to take lessons from these Netflix series in this aspect.

You should try and do a full season of the Flash. Not as good as Daredevil season 1 or Jessica Jones season 1, but it gets very good.

DC Legends of Tomorrow is utter garbage.

Love Doctor Who. Not a huge fan of Torchwood though.

Have to be fair...never have been a big fan of DC comics so some of these opinions might be different if I cared for the characters from the comics more.

Very good. Finished last night. Some niggles and I don't think it was quite as coherent as season 1 but it sticks the landing. I should have seen it coming but didn't. The Elektra/Matt chemistry was the highlight of the season for me.

Pretty epic Punisher sequence in jail. I thought the show and the actor did a great job conveying how the Punisher is more than just a guy with a lot of guns. Being able to introduce him in the context of a world with super-heroes certainly helps a lot. A couple times Bernthal sounded a little Rick Grimes-y rather than native New Yorker but that was the most fully realized Punisher i could've dreamt of.

I will say, if I ever become a ninja, I will not wait around at the edge of the fight until it's my turn. If we ninjas could just learn to attack all at once, our ninja W-L record would be so much better.
