I have been looking for some under the radar players that serve a specific role that might be had much later in the draft or possibly even added as UDFA's and this young man stood out quite a bit.

He had 9 sacks last year playing against top competition. He played in the East/West Shrine game and had 3 tackles and a half sack.

He is tall and thin with very long arms. Quick twitch but also fast.

He is possibly best suited as a 3-4 OLB but I think he could make a great situational Pass Rusher. He will need to put on a little weight but I could see him coming in on 3rd downs and adding some pressure.

Just one possibility if we miss out on early highly touted DE's.

He weighed 237 at whatever All-Star game he played in.

It was the East/West shrine game. He was 2nd team all SEC. They dropped him into coverage quite a bit but he still had 9 sacks on the year. If they had him just rushing the passer he would have most likely been a double digit sack guy.

He is way down on the prospect rankings but he could have a really good combine(assuming he is invited) and move up some. He likely can be had with a 6th or 7th round pick and maybe even as a UDFA.

He looks like a low risk/high reward type and if we miss out on top DE's early he could be a good grab.

Hes gonna move himself up to a mid round pick if not sneak into the end of the 3rd after the combine. He was a handful playing in the SEC. scouts already know about him.

6'5 237 4.6 or 4.7 with 9 sacks and scheme flexibility? Like him a lot too but he's going to have to put on 10-15 lbs immediately even he is going to play OLB in NFL.

get himself up to 240 first and he becomes someones pass rush specialist. He has the athleticism and the production at his current size. He may not be high on our board that's not to say he wont on others.

He's practically 240 right now at 237, guy is very thin but he plays tough for his size so he has that going for him. But even as tough as he is physics will win out more often than not. He needs to get up to 245-250 to have a better opportunity/ strength to shed NFL pulling OL.

Seems like the type u take a 4 round flyer on. Just needs to get in weight room. a NFL strength and conditioning program will do wonders for him.

Reminds me of Gregory actually. I like him but I wouldn't plan for him to be our primary solution at pass rush in the draft.
He is wirey and bends well, not sure how well he'll stand up against the run though

I can see why he physically reminds of Gregory, but not as good against the run (uses long arms to lever OL away from body) and doesn't have Gregory's consistent bend around corner. He has ability to dip that shoulder but would rather just speed rush wide or fake in go out. Pops out too high out sometimes of his stance so negates his burst. Does not set edge well for obvious reasons, but also attacks inside too early. Not reading his keys maybe? Talent is there, technique is needed. Marinelli would love him.
