I think Dallas should have played Jackson in some game this season and see what they got. Couldn't be worst then Morris or Dunbar at this point and had Jackson showed what I know he is capable of Dunbar would have been cut and Jackson taken his spot. Oh well, GB getting a starting RB now

Key embedded part of the tweet:

"Jason Garrett said he could have a role right away on the kicking game."

So we might get to see him on kickoffs right away (please).

How long before he is out? I give it a game maybe 2.

Really bad move man. I hope he passes thru waivers.
I don't understand why you cut him when we had space on the roster after moving Jaylon to IR.

Are we gonna pick up someone else?

Bad move?? Doubtful. He is a dime a dozen running back. I seriously doubt any team would be inclined to waste a spot on their 53 for him. It will be signed back to the practice squad in a day or so. And if he is picked up, no big loss.

Should have done away with Dunbar if you ask me. When he is brought in, everyone knows it ain't no run and they will try to pass the ball to him as first option. Or it will be a short pass/dump off since he can't block. Not sure why they keep this guy. Oh well.

FYI, he is on my list to replace next year. :D

that sucks. they might regret that one in 2017. Dmac is a FA, so you get him for 3 games and the playoffs, Morris is here next year and they hardly use him, Dunbar has done absolutely nothing, but he must have compromising photos of Jerry with Garrett or both.

While Dunbar hasn't provided the spark one had seen previously in the passing game, he is a contributor on special teams. Jackson has yet to make the active roster. I do think that Jackson has some potential, but he has little chance of seeing any time on the field this season. I don't see the issue with the cut. Hopefully he makes it to the practice squad. If he doesn't, frankly, I don't think this is one that would be rued past this week.

How does Lance Dunbar still have a job...

Oh wait, maybe it's the jaw-dropping 10 yard kickoff returns that is keeping him around.

Maybe he is a better blocker than we give him credit. Maybe Jackson sucked at blitz pickup on the scout team. Who knows.

lol if you can stay on an NFL team by being a good blocker, I should start brushing up on my blocking skills!

I could be rich. But you're right, it must be that he contributes something that isn't visible to the average fan.
