Arkansas DT Darius Philon made his debut at No. 8 in Mel Kiper's most recent defensive tacklerankings.
Kiper didn't explain Philon's jump, though the analyst did have a few extra slots to work with afterAdolphus Washington (Ohio State) and Jarran Reed (Alabama) each decided to return to campus for another year.
