A couple of years ago USC and UCLA agreed to play with both teams wearing their dark jerseys and no one wearing white jerseys. I think it pulled off a really nice look for the fans. Here's a glimpse of how it looks.

Would you like to see some NFL games do this if their primary colors are not similar?

For example, Dallas & Washington or Philadelphia.

I kind of like it. This is why I think the NFL needs to adopt Tex Schramm's formula of home team in White and visiting team in Dark colors. But for occasional games this could be done.

I see no problem with dark jersey against dark jersey for some teams. Wouldn't work for the Seahawks and Philly for example.

I like our white jerseys although I like to see the dark uniforms on occasion.

I think it would be great. San Diego's Baby Blues versus the Raiders Black, Cardinals Red versus Green Bay Green. High definition TV would really bring out the colors.

Not to mention the Cowboys green pants versus the Commanders gold and burgundy.:)

I don't think our blues with the Eagles dark greens would work. You might be able to do blues and reds... like us and Washington. That's probably why USC and UCLA worked, because they're not close colors on the spectrum.

Yeah, the Skins might work, but not the Eagles or G-Men.

You see in MLB games sometimes that both teams will be wearing dark jerseys, too.

Not a fan. Obviously with hi-def color everyone can tell the difference in teams, but I still like the traditional light and dark look.

lol @ Dallas playing the NYG and both teams wearing blue..that would be crazy

The throwbacks for both teams if they played on Thanksgiving would be sweet!!

I'd like to see us against Miami in all dark, but not that orange thing they wear, the aquamarine.

I would love that. I like our blue better than our white. We always end up with white about 13 games a year so it is nice to see our other look every now and then

I should have mentioned the Cowboys vs. 'Skins for clarification.

When I knew we were playing KC that year, I was really hoping that we would come out in the original road whites with the blue shoulders and white stars. I was disappointed.

I like the idea for college. But in the NFL, I like the way it's already structured. Besides, I like our white jerseys more than our road blues, although I missed those blue uni's last season.

It makes sense for USC and UCLA to both be wearing darks because they both call L.A. home.

I could see opposite colors (like those two) playing in the darks. Like Dallas and Washington.

Didn't the Cowboys play the skins @ home a few years back where the Cowboys wore throwbacks(or maybe it was the double stars with white sleeves) and the skins wore their dark jerseys?

Back when Roy Williams, the safety, made a crazy pick 6...

I could be wrong, but I doubt it

I don't remember that, but you could be right.

As Mr. Sunshine showed in the pic he posted, both Dallas and KC wore their dark throwbacks in the same game, so maybe the NFL allows it with throwbacks.

Edit, found a whole page on this.

Guess we've done this several times on Thanksgiving when other teams only had the dark version of their throwbacks. In fact, now I wonder if that's partly why we've worn the throwback on other days the last couple of years.
