Name a guy who has been flying under the radar that you could see the team drafting.

The one guy for me who hasn't been mentioned much in here at all, but makes a lot of sense as a scheme fit is Colorado CB Chidobe Awuzie. He was a 30 visit and is bunched in that fringe 1st Round cluster of CBs.

Reasons why Dallas likes him:
1) At 6'0" 202lbs with elite athletic traits (has the 3rd highest SPARQ score among all draft eligible CBs, 97.2-percentile of all NFL CBs)
2) Physical presence, arguably the most aggressive tackler among all CBs in this class.
3) 4-year starter, team Captain, highly intelligent, RKG
4)Has played all 4 positions in the secondary (FS,SS,Boundary, Slot) and is an excellent blitzer

Was I the first one to have Awuzie as high as our 2nd round pick? Pretty sure I said it was likely he wouldn't even make it there before the Combine even started, after I'd watched him around the time of the Senior Bowl.

Sorry, i'm done patting myself on the back. But yeah, I like him too.

I like Awuzie a good bit. I'd be 100% down with him if that's the way the team goes.

I've been saying for a while now that he has size, athleticism, ball hawking skills and is a RKG.

Really everything the team wants. They really want ball skills this year

OP, can you expand on him being the most aggressive CB tackler? Not disputing you, but just excited about getting a CB that can tackle after the Jenkins and Mo experience.

What's it going to be then, eh?

Malik McDowell. I could see his size, athleticism, and value at #28 being attractive to Dallas. It's not who I'd want, but I can see Dallas mulling it over if he's there.
That is one king sized headcase for Marinelli.

Something about Awuzie screams solid, but unspectacular to me. I think he'll have a job in the NFL for a long time, but not sure he's top CB material. Micah Hyde(ish) maybe?

Isn't this the kid that admitted that he needs to work on his motor? That's a redflag for most coaches and especially Marinelli. I believe that was the reason Ryan Russell only lasted a year on our team..and he was a 5th rounder.

You may be thinking of Caleb Brantley, who admitted at the Combine that he takes plays off. McDowell is not even that contrite.

He's lazy. Dallas won't want him so you can likely cross him off your list.

I am not sure he is under the radar, just if Gareon Conley. Le'Darius White, Fabian Moreau, Kevin King, and Jourdan Lewis are on the menu we should have a pause before choosing.

Yep it was Brantley... and his motor isn't even that bad.

McDowell is a waste of a uniform. Very talented but just doesn't care.

I mean, now that he is trying to get drafted he might act like he cares... but he doesn't love football.

Not saying you're right or wrong but where's all of that coming from? Did I miss McDowll say or do something?

I have read it several different times at various places including some straight from NFL guys. It has been a while (I quit looking up stuff about him) so I can't remember exactly. Should be pretty easy to find though.

Awuzie is a good call. The intangibles really sell me on him.

I am not sure if he falls, but I'd put Mike Williams as a darkhorse.

I can see Ross, Davis, Samuel going ahead of him.

If enough people worry about his health... I could see Ross falling some.

I like him because he isn't a track guy trying to play football. He is a football player who is really fast. His hands are good and he is a pretty natural receiver.

He is just a good football player IMO, unlike most smaller speed guys.

Which is probably why he won't slide to us. But if he does... I'd do it.

I like McDowel a lot. That would be the pièce de résistance for the interior. pardon my french
