I don't get it.

Sure he has great skills but he makes awful decisions with the ball. He's looked terrible in two of his big games - ND and now OSU.

Plays behind a high school caliber OL

He's talented but a gambler and he has a head coach who just rolls out the balls.

I think he needs to go back to school

well lets hope the Giants draft him

i promise u he plays behind a much better than high school OL. they are generally good run blocker but dont to pass from behind much. thats probably coaching and focus

That's why Rosen is going to be selected before him.
Rosen might have a million dollar arm but a ten cent head. Just wondering if he can take the fame and money that comes along with being a NFL player.

Every time I watch him he gives me the Carson Palmer vibe.

Palmer reminded me of Aikman.... Not getting that @ all. Gotta agree w/ the OP....I just don't get the hype. Must be a So Cal. thing. LMAO USC is getting rolled. OU is physically taking it to the much hyped trojans.

Now that you mentioned a former bengals QB...that's who Darnold reminds me of..
....a little bit of Andy Dalton.

Has a big arm, but his pocket awareness needs work. Also, that Pick-6 he threw was a *** moment.

Unless Darnold feels no one at SC will help him get better (which I could see), he needs to come back. He really needs to spend an off-season with NFL-level guys and come back next year and show he can cut down on the turnovers. Most of the WRs are back, O Line needs help but mostly returns, a big chunk of the defense is back too. Unfortunately, like here in Dallas, most of the coaches will be back too.

I would be shocked if he came out. He's not ready.

Please Giants, draft him with the 2nd overall pick.
Poor year to be sitting at the top two spots of the draft. I wouldn't want either Rosen or Darnold. And I don't see a lot of teams looking to trade up for a particular player. This draft looks like many solid players but none jump out as spectacular. Barkley looks the best to me and he might not even come out.

Did not know that. I just hope he is grounded and not like a Ryan Leaf type kid.

Oh man...

Supposedly...Darnold is pretty mature. We will see. Definately gonna file this comparison away. Wouldn't shock me to find out this guy is a spoiled brat.

Darnold seems pretty grounded and mature from what I have heard and seen. Rosen seems sometimes a little immature at times but maybe he has grown up a little this year.
