He certainly gives us flexibility going into the next off-season, both cap-wise and draft-wise.

If a stud CB falls into our lap at 32 - awesome! We can cut Lewis and Bland is a stud nickel/#3 corner. If not, we can hold on to Lewis and Bland man's the outside.

I’m not sure anyone saw this coming, he’s an interception machine. I don’t know what play was more important, the dime to Hilton, or the interception by Bland
I saw it coming in that first game that he got into and made an interception. He makes things happen

Tap the brakes.
Let's see if he can sustain this level of play consistently for several seasons in a row.
Many of our so called "stars" couldn't do it.

Dude is a baller no doubt. I do wish he was hair faster or quicker.. That's probably the only thing that kept him from being a higher round pick. But his overall game is nice. Yes some receivers can out run him.. but as he gains experience he will learn how to eliminate even that advantage. Or at least minimize it.

Bland has certainly been a great find- a developing young player. Star? Not yet in my book. He hasn’t played enough to be certain that he’s a star. His potential is certainly there.
Is he already a star. I couldn’t edit it. I agree though.

Again, I thought I put IS before it it would not allow me to edit after I get it

They're saying it's too soon to call him a star, and I agree. I like what I've seen so far, but it's a small sample size, and I don't know what quality of QB and receiver he's gone up against.

I know what you’re saying, and I agree. The heading would not allow me to edit what I said.

Al Harris finally got some well deserved camera time last week.

That’ll only contribute toward losing him to a DC position, but good for him.

It’s fairly obvious our DBs have a much different mentality and approach since he arrived. Brown and Lewis improved their game as well.

He is what many thought Joseph would be without the headache and cost us less to acquire him as well.

Did you forget one of the best slot guys in the league is still on the team in Jourdan Lewis?
They can create around 4 1/2 million in cap releasing Lewis this off-season. There were people clamoring for him to be benched even before the injury. “Best slot guy” in the league is a bit of a stretch. Guessing he’s a cap casualty and they target corner in the 2nd/3rd round!

I’d keep brown over Lewis.

To me a star is a guy who does it multiple years
He obviously hasn’t played multiple years
But right now he is the steal of the draft and playing like a star player
