Bland went to Central Catholic HS in Modesto. My daughter's boyfriend played for Oakdale and they played in the playoffs..... maybe it was last game of regular season? Anyways, I went to the game and bland played RB, NOT receiver as he stated last week. Although my daughters boyfriend's team won the game (close game) Bland was clearly the best player on the field. I had no clue he would end up in the nfl.

It is crazy how these guys end up in the NFL. There are a thousand guys with his athleticism, yet here he is, gonna be a pro bowler and clearly is now in the conversation for DPOY.

I am super happy for him as he is a quality guy, and why he is where he is. Character matters for a lot of guys and he has it in spades.
