Daron Bland is underappreciated

Why aren't we talking about this kid locking down the other starting CB job? I mean he had a better rookie year than Diggs. Just me, the other starting CB job is this kid's to lose.

What other starting job? The nickel? I think most assumed that it was already his lol.

I think most people assume that he'll be the Nickel (inside) CB in 2023.

DaRon Bland: 91%

When adding CBs in the draft, ideally teams want to add players with upside to play outside.
- i.e. Don't draft Nickel (inside) only CBs early.

They have some options. They still have Jourdan Lewis not sure what his recovery is going to look like but I like the depth. We just need Father Time not to catch up to Gilmore too soon.

This is what I think the real difference maker is.
Regardless of how his measurables grade out, the kid can play ball. He has instincts, he has a feel for what’s going on out on the field.

Sometimes folks get too wrapped up in how fast a guy can run or how far he can jump or how long his arms are. Not saying that those factors aren’t important, but I want dudes like Bland on my team, who can just straight play ball.
