hes not underappreciated at all. Diggs, Bland, Mukuamu, and whichever DB we draft within the the 1st 4 rounds will be the future of our secondary.

During this pass happy era of NFL football, you have to be able to put three NFL starting caliber CB's on the field. Adding Gilmore is by no means disrespecting Bland. Now, if they extended the contracts of Lewis or Brown, that would be different.

some of the Dallas beat writers and the fan radio guys underestimate this kid. I hear it all the time...they minimize what he did with alot of "yeah buts" Its almost like "I bet he can't do it again" kinda stuff. Its unfair as heck. Yet they give Diggs a free pass after he decided to dodge tackling and whiffed on ints late in the year. The kid had a better year than Diggs did. He didnt even start much of the year either!!! Tell me why we need 2 pay Diggs? If we can start Izzy at cb and draft another Bland on the cheap, why pay him? Is he worth it? I liked what Izzy and Bland did alot.
He's one of the best intercepting the ball. But it did seem he regressed a little. He was doing things he wasn't doing his first 2 yrs. Just looked like he started cheating and looking for that int. But I would want 2 or 3 cbs who just do their jobs with diggs money. I don't need that 20mil a yr cb. Especially at a position the rules are designed to limit the amount of def you can play. That missing tackles thing I'm sure started after getting dinged up a little too much. Cause he used to be willing to throw his body into the mix, looking lol.

Let's give this kid a little more respect........he's earned it. ( 5 interceptions, 38 solo tackles playing part-time )
Why aren't we talking about this kid locking down the other starting CB job? I mean he had a better rookie year than Diggs. Just me, the other starting CB job is this kid's to lose.

I dont think he was under appreciated, his talent was evident to anyone that follows this team closely knows who Bland is now.
Only unappreciated by those that you don't bother wasting your time with that pose as Cowboys fans standing in line at the gas station but get lost in conversation if you mention anyone on this roster other than Dak or Jerry Jones, they don't know who the starting center is, much less Bland.

Reminds me a lot of a young Everson Walls, just in mannerisms initially, the way he moves on the field in play is uncanny similar IMHO.

Love his game, he aggressively attacks and goes after the ball. Draft jackpot
he's a better version of Diggs in the making. I agree. He is very sticky in coverage and his instincts are special. Why this staff couldn't see this sooner than they did is nuts. Kid should have been on the field week 1.

Bland will have to compete for that Slot spot with Lewis, and I like the idea of that to bring out the best in him.

Bland is appreciated.
Lewis needs to eat a few biscuits and play SS. He is not a very good CB. Never understood the infatuation with him. Hopefully he can stick with TE's. Pop a couple in the mouth on crossing routes.

thats actually a great take. I see it the same. He's just so fluid and see's what he needs to quickly.

Bland isn’t under appreciated at all. Bland did have 5 INTs , he also gave up TDs which no one really talks about. I think no one really talks about that because the second CB spot was so bad starting with Bossman. So with all things considered and how he played given the circumstances he did outstanding

He's the 2nd best cb we have. It's him and Gilmore. I will eat crow if I'm wrong during the year. Diggs better get back to fundamentals.

Between Bland & Diggs right now, based off of the latest season's work .. I'll take Bland for the upside and overall value.
Just my opinion AND I'm entitled to it.
