In the Seattle game, that also highlighted weak safety play. The safeties were non-existent in the passing game against Seattle, and some of those plays were supposed to be broken up by safeties.
Things aren't always what they seem on any given play...sometimes it's hard for fans to comprehend who really missed their assignment on any given play, or the number of people who missed assignments, not merely the one who's in the frame of the play.
Bland is a solid CB, and he's had a really good year. Every CB gets beat throughout a season, especially CBs who aren't surrounded by solid pass-prevent safeties to back them up occasionally.
