This pick for me is the epitome of the Will McClay draft years. Select a kid in the mid rounds that I’ve never heard of (I’m a huge draft nerd and typically know 80-85% of the prospects) with other guys I liked on the board and he turns into an stud.

Scouting department deserves a raise for that one.

The way he’s breaking on throws tells you he’s playing confident and with anticipation. There are corners that have been playing 5-6 years in the league that will basically wait until the ball is caught and just tackle the reciever.

And to think, Marquese Bell has hardly seen much in terms of playing time. From what I've seen in preseason, Bell was an enforcer. But he only has 1 tackle right now. I believe Bell will provide an impact down the line, I just get that sense from his play.

Well he was hurt for a good portion of his rookie season and is only in his second year. Let’s let it bake a little longer, shall we?
Early picks should have near immediate impact.
Joseph is a low football IQ player. They took a chance on his athleticism. It's not working. I do think he's in the best place; if DQ can't get him to smarten up and play like a starter, no one can. But being patient and waiting until year 3 isn't sound. But hey, Special Teams!
