I thought he looked and played well last night. I liked that they used him as the FB near the goal line, and got that 1st down when everyone was probably thinking Zeke up the middle.
They lined him up as a wide out. Spelled Zeke much better than Morris has done lately. They were able to use Dunbar more effectively as a receiver.

And this was all in his first action back.
Props to the team for making this move.

Just another tiny piece that we may look back on and say having him with fresh legs in the playoffs helped.
Exactly. Having fresh legs this late in the season, especially for a fast running back is very noticeable. As good as Elliott has been, you can tell he's a little slower now (not slow by any means, just a little slower) than he was earlier in the season, which is very typical for most running backs, especially one who uses both speed and power in a run-heavy offense over a long season. That said, on that one 10 yard run, McFadden looked a step faster than everyone out there due to it being his first game back this season and his off-season injury was arm-related, not leg/knee/ankle/foot related.

That's why they talk about the rookie wall. Once you get to week 13+, no rookies have ever played that many games in a season and still have a month to go plus any playoff games.
