It's crazy we haven't been able to replace him. I remember drafting Roy Williams and his rookie year was phenomenal. Year 2 was good also, after that I don't know what happened to him.

The game changed on him. After his horse collar on T.O., the league legislated against his patent move. The league also started getting tougher on hits over the middle. I think the league legislating against his style of play hurt him more than it did other strong safeties.

Just think: Ed Reed went in the same draft and much lower.

Exactly who I was thinking. Loved that combo......Bill Bates is another guy I would want. Maybe not on Woodson, Harris etc. talent level but he gave everything and was hell on special teams

Ed Reed was more of a coverage safety. Williams was a hard nose tackling machine that gave out snot bubble hits
