Just as in the Washington game the defense was completely unable to stop them down the stretch. This has been a problem for us for several years now under Zimmer. Our defense looks great for 50+ minutes then suddenly can't stop anything at the end of the game, allowing the other team to come from behind.
I haven't looked it up yet but I would be interested to see how many 4th quarter leads we have given up under Zimmer's coordinatorship. 15? 20? It seemed like we lost a half dozen last year alone.
This is a trend not an abberation.
Thats the drive where Hasselbeck got knocked on his rear and still got the ball off right? I couldn't believe it when I saw that. Questionable penalties called on our defense also kept the drive alive. Face mask on Anthony Henry? He didn't TOUCH anyone's facemask. Phantom call. Pass interference on Aaron Glenn? I didn't see it. I can't say whether it happened or not. None of this was Zimmer's fault.
Oh and you people suggesting this team doesn't miss Dat... one word, ********.
