Davante Adams to Jets for a 3rd round pick

The thing that startles me is just the difference in reactions. The Jets lose a game against a division rival (at the moment their only division rival) because their WR fell down on a route. Within 12 hours they are finalizing a trade to upgrade their WR room. The Cowboys get pounded into the dirt by an NFC rival and 2 days later the owner wants to gaslight the fanbase and silence anyone questioning his brilliance.

Rodgers is a Le-GM cancer, but Adams frankly needed to get off the Raiders and the Raiders had no reason to keep him.

Report is a 3rd round draft pick upgraded to a 2nd if Adams makes 1st or 2nd team All Pro or the Jets reach an AFC Championship game.

Jets have a favourable schedule. They could still easily make a run.

Really dumb move by the Jets.
Maybe but at least they are doing something not just gaslighting thier fans...they know they have maybe 2 years of AR and are going to push every button to get one with him...i respect that 10000X more than our FO.

Rogers doesn’t look like he has two years. He can’t move anymore and he wences and panics anytime they have pressure.

Nor would Henry.
I keep on saying the same, what good would it have been to sign him knowing our running scheme is trash, blocking is trash. Henry would come here and be a dud, and we'd blame him for being paid too much to do nothing, Henry is at the right place!!!

Our problem is the running game and dline. We are fine at receiver
we're nowhere near fine, why because we have Lamb, we need a running game and an OLine of course, but we need some guys that can get open, and some routes called to help get them open

I'm sorry but I disagree because of the offense that we run, the quick drives we have, the poor blocking we have, the routes/game plan isn't good enough
The couple bruising runs a game he could give us would be the only joy we get, STs excepted. Might be worth it.

But if he can do those things you state and average more than 2.1 ypc as an RB would you take a looksie?
We have a RB avg 4.2 a carry and we give the ball to Zeke not sure if we could get Henry that Jerry would part with Zeke

The issue is the money part, but honestly this would have been exactly the type of move to help the Cowboys win now. They need another WR in the worst way, and it would have a trickle effect on the rest of the offense.
DC's are taking out ( trying ) Lamb and Ferguson and daring Dak/MM to beat them with what's left.

now if the Defense did their damn job and help teams under 19 points we'd be winning a lot of these damn games but they're giving up nineteen points by halftime that's the damn problem. When the defense can't stop and force punts or even get turnovers I don't even remember the last time we got a turnover in a big game in a big time in the game I gave the offense more opportunities at least with Dan Quinn you had that in most games but you didn't have it in the biggest games at the right moment you're gonna win games with a defense like this I don't care how many good players you put on offense.
We wouldve lost to Detroit 19-9

Jerry asleep at the wheel once again
Adams is an aging malcontent who isn’t happy with any team he goes to. This was the second time he wanted to be traded. An RB would help us more than a WR. We need to hang onto our draft picks. The draft is our only chance to improve the team. No matter what we do on offense we’ll never win anything until we fix the defense.
