Davante Adams to Rams

Not worth it.

He plays well with Rodgers. Similar to how Alvin Harper played with Aikman and how played Bryant with Romo. Even how Tony Hill played with Roger.

I could be wrong, but I don't see him doing enough to earn that contract.
Agreed. Harper's issue was his work ethic. Michael Irvin lived in the weight room while Harper was the last to arrive and the first to leave. And on an offense that featured Emmitt, Irvin, and Novacek, teams rarely gameplanned to stop Harper. That's why he stunk in Tampa Bay. He could not handle being "the guy" defenses honed in on.

It’s a lot of money but it’s only a 2-year deal so I think it’s relatively painless if it doesn’t work out. I was kind of hoping the cowboys would target one of the top FA receivers for a short but expensive deal so that the draft can be focused on other positions. They freed up the money for the next few years so I hope they get one of the other receivers still left in FA.

He also had 18 catches for 209 yards in three games with the Raiders before being traded last year. That's 6 for 70 per game, which over 17 games would have been 102 for 1,190.

Don't know if those numbers would have been better than Kupp's over a full season, but Adams has been a little healthier than Kupp.
Catching passes from Gardner Minshew on an awful Vegas team is a little different than catching passes from Matthew Stafford on a Rams team that came the closest to beating Philly this postseason.
