Now before you all threaten to tar and feather me,
I believe it was time for Dave to move on.

However, I believe Dave deserves props based on his whole body of work as Cowboys Coach. He did a great job with our defense in the 1990's during our 3 Super Bowls.

Flame On !!! LOL

I'm in.

Thanks coach for the many years of coaching our team, through the good times and bad.

Pants on the ground!
Pants on the ground!
Lookin’ like a fool with yo pants on the ground!

Good luck in all your upcoming endeavors, Coach Campo...

...but in the future, always remember to wear a belt around players.

Sorry, no appreciation for the poodle. Also, wear some underwear, might I suggest boxer briefs.

Dave, your coaching was, at times, adequate. And you weren't a fatso slob like Rob Ryan or Wade Phillips.
You had nice eyeglasses.

Dave Campo, you have your own ring(s)...so insult is not in order here. But through the good as well as the bad, you helped to carry the Star. For this, I am gratefull and say, Thanks!:starspin

That is a classy post, CCBoy.
I salute you.

It was funny seeing him get depantsed(sp?(is it even a word?)) on Hard Knocks.

I appreciate the guy. Cowboys fans shouldn't eat their own. I'm glad he's moved on, though.

Back when he was the head coach, Campo's teams played hard. That always impressed me.

They may have been outgunned (largely due to salary cap problems), but they played hard.

Campo was a great d-coordinator for us years ago.

It was time for a change (just like it was for Wade) but that does not mean he is not a good D-coach.

Thanks for the 1995 Superbowl defense and your many years of hard work under the worst conditions and brightest spotlights.

Never a Campo fan, this has to be an upgrade.

I'll never forget on Hard Knocks, the team was in a circle huddle at the end of practice. Everybody had their hands together up in the air.

Campo says, "ok, everybody in, .. Cowboys on three, .. ready, .. COWBOYS!!

He forgot the 1-2-3 !!

The players died laughing.

When he was the head coach, I always said he was the luckiest Cowboys fan in the world.

He got to be in the lockerroom with the players, got to stand on the sidelines with the players during games, .. and he got to wear the headphones and listen to the coaches during the game.

What fan wouldn't want to do those things on game day!!
