I honestly thought he didn't take them...I guess I was wrong.
It could be an automatic 4 game suspension. May also depend on whether he was already in the NFL drug program.AJM1613 said:So whats that mean? How long is he suspened next season?
He has been suspended before for drugs, I think, but not for roids.Woody'sGirl said:It could be an automatic 4 game suspension. May also depend on whether he was already in the NFL drug program.
But under the NFL drug policy, what would be the difference? I would think they're both illegal under those guidelines. I'm just curious what the fallout will be.Yeagermeister said:He has been suspended before for drugs, I think, but not for roids.

I think he completed the program for the first offense so basically he was starting over.Woody'sGirl said:But under the NFL drug policy, what would be the difference? I would think they're both illegal under those guidelines. I'm just curious what the fallout will be.
He's had all season since he's on IRJammer said:Now he has some time to develop his body.
Oh ok. I guess he's been in the league long enough to do that. But that's the height of stupidity to get busted all over again and subject yourself to the madness of being drug tested 10 times a month.Yeagermeister said:I think he completed the program for the first offense so basically he was starting over.
Leon Lett is the poster boy for that mentalityWoody'sGirl said:Oh ok. I guess he's been in the league long enough to do that. But that's the height of stupidity to get busted all over again and subject yourself to the madness of being drug tested 10 times a month.

David Boston faces possible suspension
Jan. 30, 2003

Phoenix, AZ (Sports Network) - Arizona Cardinals wide receiver David Boston faces a possible suspension by the NFL after he pleaded no contest to charges of driving under the influence.
The 24-year-old Boston was sentenced on Wednesday to 10 days in jail. However, all but one of those days will be suspended after he completes a drug screening.
Boston was charged last March for DUI. The Arizona Republic reports a motorist noticed Boston driving erratically and called police while following the wide receiver to his home. Boston then tested positive for cocaine and marijuana, according to Phoenix police.
Boston, who will become an unrestricted free agent next month, played in just eight games last season due to knee and ankle injuries. He had 32 receptions for 512 yards and one touchdown.
A first-round draft pick from Ohio State, Boston enjoyed a breakout season in 2001 and recorded career-highs with 98 receptions for a franchise-record 1,598 yards and eight touchdowns.
