Was Tyrone Crawford having as good of a year as Irving the year before we gave him a big contract?

I don't think that Tyron Crawford was ever this disruptive.

He kind of reminds me of Sean Jones, long neck, height, wingspan, power moves and quickness.

Tighten his technique and we have something special. Incredible break if he develops huge.

I love this guy, I was not expecting him to be so dominant, but he sure as heck picked the right time to have his coming out party. I can't name a better d lineman I've seen the last few weeks. That 6'7" frame makes him look even more intimidating..love seeing him just engulf smaller Qbs and backs. He even looked huge taking down Winston...

Next year if we can get everybody healthy and together, what we could have? A pretty damn good secondary and an emerging front seven that can finally get pressure up front.

Confident enough that you would take something other than a defensive player with the first pick in the draft? I'm not, but I'd really like a TE or quality no. 2 deep threat receiver.

I think Tyrone was more consistent across the season however. Irving's sample size is still very tiny.

Crawford was a beast the year right before he got his contract. He was constantly in the backfield disrupting plays and pressuring the quarterback.
