I'm only two minutes in, and he's made a guy miss on every run so far.
From the other games I've watched, it looks like he loses too much speed when he tries to change directions. Definitely not as smooth as a guy like Gordon, Coleman, or a Yeldon when it comes to cutting and maintaining top speed.
He looked good here though.
I watched him vs a conference opponent early on and kind of forgot him afterward. Thought he was maybe not as NFL ready as we needed. It looked like he was a big fish in a small pond. I don't usually like using all-star game performance, but that looked pretty impressive. My memory of him was he was too slow, but maybe I'm thinking of David Cobb.
Very odd running style. His ability to stop and start is unusual at that size. Can't think of another back as big that can do that. Maybe Chris Warren back in his Seattle hey day. Didn't look like he knew what to do in pass pro. That KR ability would be a big plus until he becomes a feature back.
I gotta say.. He is a intriguing player.
The guy is big, fast, and can catch.
You gotta like the upside with this player.. I haven't been too high on him at all but it's hard to not see the potential with this player.

The Senior Bowl is not for evaluating a RB. It's very hard to have good run fits on a team that has not played together.
This is better: He is a really good receiver and open field runner, but as strictly a RB he is not special. He would be best in scheme that used him in multiple ways or even as a part time WR.

He is a very good receiver and decent pass blocker when he finds the right guy to block and good open field runner; however, as a behind the line runner he is very average.
He is basically a big WR playing RB.
He looked awesome for the Cardinals,tonight..
