He was on The Ticket with The Musers and he said this training camp he was talking with LVE and Jaylon. Asking if they watched the Rams playoff game and tried to dissect what went wrong and address what happened. Nope. They both said they don't worry about that game and they will keep doing what they do. Facepalm. That sums up this team in a nutshell under Garrett. They don't adjust. They don't actually learn from their mistakes and address them. We did absolutely nothing to address how weak this defense is up the middle. It's always "we will keep doing what we do". Even though what you are doing doesn't work and has never proven to work past the wild card under Garrett dating back to his OC days.

Pathetic.

I think the Cowboys are always a step behind. I dont believe they didn’t adjust, they don’t worry about the outcome of any previous loss but I can assure you they made some changes on how they play. However, they make changes and the opposing offenses adjust again. Dallas/Garett-top/Maranelli/Richards are all again left wondering what the hell just happened? Absolutely agree with you in that Coaching is an issue.,,

Why blame Garrett, at the end of the series all or nothing they showed Sean Lee heading for the film root to start breaking it down seems to me the player should want to get better

I don’t believe them. Of course they watched it.
It’s easier to say you didn’t watch it then have a reporter follow up and ask you what you are changing to make sure it doesn’t happen again.

That would certainly be concerning. Meanwhile, it appears their opponents have watched the game and learned from it.

According to the process the players did not execute.

"gotta look at the tape and get better"

"can't change the past"

"on to next week"

it all sounds good but under Garret, it ain't working

They don't watch the tape? I'm beginning to wonder if they even practice. I might have to take a quick drive up to The Star to see it for myself.

I wonder what Richard has to say about that.

Hasn’t it been long enough that maybe Garrett is just in way over his head and he has no answers? Maybe it’s just not his ego... he’s like the guy that can memorize a textbook and score an A on the exam, but not produce any unique insights or adjust quickly on the fly.

Garrett probably still doesn’t know what happened in the Rams game from a strategic POV

The guy is a politician, who is polished with cliches and can handle a press conference for CSPAN, thats about it.

Garrett has always embraced an ego that's reluctant to admit to fault.

He's in denial to a point where adjustments are routinely not required.

You watch his post game interview? Sheesh talk about throwing everyone under the bus!

Because it's not up to the players to create gameplans and adjustments. They are there to execute. They can have input but the coaches are paid to make these adjustments as a whole. Under Garrett's entire tenure, we don't make adjustments. We made none yesterday. Fleming was getting abused all game like Tyron's backup 2 years ago in Atlanta and we did nothing to help him out. Granted he didn't give up 8 sacks like Chaz Green but he was getting pushed back and manhandled. We didn't try to do anything to offset what GB was doing.

We never ever adjust. On either side of the ball. That is coaching, not the players. Players can break down film and see what they can better technique wise but it's up to the coaches to install the actual gameplans, approaches and adjustments. If not, then what do they actually do?

Which begs the question to what Garrett actually does here?
